It’s time for a few Christmas carols, and Broadway isn’t disappointing, with a new pop-up branding that can be put under the tree. Check out our list of the best Christmas albums on Broadway in recent years, as well as some of our favorite songs from last year.
Disney’s “Frozen 2”
Produced by Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the album reunites her with her starring role in Disney’s “Frozen 2” and features songs from the show’s original cast and new songs from the cast and crew of the Broadway production. The album has just been released and includes some of Broadway’s best Christmas songs, along with some new songs from this year’s production of “A Christmas Carol.
Frozen 2 “features a stunning soundtrack that includes songs from the show’s original cast and crew, as well as new songs from Anna Kendrick, Kristen Wiig, Kristen Dunst, and Christophe Lefebvre. A Season of Love “is full of swinging Christmas classics and brand new, original songs that will live on in the hearts and minds of children and adults for many years to come.
Frozen 2 “is directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, produced by Peter Del Vecho, and written by Lee. Buck said: ‘The Oscar-winning team behind Frozen is back and the music of the Lopezes and Christophe Beck is part of our DNA as Frozen.
We could not have imagined that Frozen 2 would continue the success of the first film with such a great cast, such a great cast, and such great music. It is among the most favorite Christmas albums of the youngest and it’s a great idea for a gift!
Lea Michele Christmas in the City
The incredible music really allowed us to deepen and expand the story, and we brought a rich emotional understanding of the world and the characters. The album, developed by co-producers Adam Rabinowitz and David Fincher, features a new version of “Have a Merry Little Christmas,” a Christmas classic performed by Broadway darling Cynthia Erivo and Broadway alumni Criss Cross, including Lea DeLaria, Jennifer Hudson, John Leguizamo, Michael C. Hall, and many others. It was selected by LeA itself and premiered at the New York Film Festival in December 2014 as part of a special screening by cast and crew.
Carols for a Cure: Volume 21

John will also be accompanied by a brand new duet, which will be unveiled soon, with his wife Ana Gasteyer, who will sweeten the holidays with her own version of “A Merry Christmas” on the album.

Produced by John’s wife Ana Gasteyer (“A Christmas carol, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” the 15-track album, features some original songs penned by Gaston and songs by other Broadway stars. The Stage Door features stars from yesteryear on Broadway singing their favorite songs from the past, present, and future. Cuban beat Secret Santa with Maya Rudolph, but this collection of Christmas classics contains more than just Christmas music for the holiday season.
A Vintage Broadway Christmas
This collection includes a glittering selection of Broadway stars performing their favorite songs, many of which are making their debut on CD. The performers include Anna Paquin (“Call Me Mister,” “Sleeping Beauty”) and Annaleigh Ashford, as well as a host of other stars.
The Christmas show tunes give an insight into the lives of some of Broadway’s most beloved and beloved stars from the past, present, and future. Birdland: Christmas, “which showcases the talents of Tony Award-winning John Stritch (” Birdland “), is the first release from the new label, which aims to highlight Broadway cabaret and jazz genres and provide a home for artists who represent timeless music.
